Analysis

We start with a needs analysis that tells us what you want — and can — use a CRM for, and which other systems it should talk to. Then we focus on process analysis, i.e. how people work (the sequence of their activities), and finally we run a data analysis that shows where data is created, where it moves to, and who uses it when.

Defining the data model

Based on the analysis we settle on the right record structure inside the CRM — who counts as a client and a contact person, what a project or opportunity is, and how quotes, orders, products and price lists will be used. For each record type we define the maximum scope of information that needs to be tracked.

Creating sample data

Sample data represents typical real-world records. If the data model is the form, sample data is the content. Together they form the template for training and data migration. With sample data you can easily check whether the system will solve your needs and how efficient it will be to work with.

Configuring all required features

A CRM has a range of complex features whose configuration is not always simple or effective without the full context. Custom print templates are a good example — they let you export practically any document, but building them requires following precise rules, much like programming (even though it isn't programming).

Building integrations and automations

Only on a perfectly configured CRM can you efficiently build integrations and automations. The advantage of using Make is fast delivery and a substantially lower price than classic custom development, while keeping the functionality and reliability the solution needs.

Training and inspiration

Building on the previous steps, we onboard future users not only on the general CRM features and the recording process, but also on operating every integration and automation. We combine in-person meetings with online sessions, so training can produce a reusable recording.

Like any complex software, a CRM can be used cleverly — or… less cleverly. People often call CRM the shovel of sales.
